How do I copy the movie file to my PC?
If there is more than one movie file appearing under “Select Your Movie” box, select the desired movie file.  Then, under “Select Your Destination” box, select “My Computer”.  After the selections have been made, click on the “Start Sync” button.

How do I copy the movie file to my PlaysForSure Portable Device?
First, ensure that your PlaysForSure Portable Device is connected via a USB cable to your PC and powered on.  If there is more than one movie file appearing under “Select Your Movie” box, select the desired movie file.  Then, under “Select Your Destination” box, select your Portable Device.  After the selections have been made, click on the “Start Sync” button.

What if my Portable Device does not appear under the “Select Your Destination” list?
First, ensure that your Portable Device is PlaysForSure compatible and supports protected WMV files.  Contact your device manufacturer or visit www.playsforsure.com.  Secondly, make sure that your Portable Device is connected to your PC properly and is powered on.  Also, you may be required to perform a firmware upgrade offered by the Portable Device manufacturer to be current.

How long will it take to copy the movie file to my PC?
The total time will depend on the speed of your DVD-ROM drive.  For example, and 8x drive takes approximately 12 minutes, and a 16x drive take approximately 6 minutes.

How do I know once the movie file copy process has completed?
Upon completion, a confirmation screen will appear informing you that the copy has transferred successfully.  You may choose to go back to the application or quit.

After I copy the movie to my PC successfully, how do I play the movie?
After a successful copy, you will be prompted from the application with an option to play the movie file using Windows Media Player.  You can also locate the movie file in your Windows Media Play List, or locate the file in the location where you originally saved the file.

What software media players can I use to play the movie file?
The Windows Media movie file is only viewable on Windows Media Player version 10 or newer.  The Apple movie file is viewable on iTunes 7.6 or later.

Do I need to perform a Windows security component upgrade?

What if I do not want to use the Fox Digital Copy feature and instead, watch the contents of my DVD on my PC?
Simply select "Launch Special Features" or "Launch DVD Movie" from the DVD-ROM menu, which should launch your default DVD Player.  Or, you may choose “Quit” from the main menu that appears upon insertion of the DVD and manually launch your preferred DVD Player.
